Hi Jared,
Could you please help me with the 'Volunteer translations' section. I just can't find it anywhere in my profile, but I can see it in other users' profiles:

Is it limited to paid members only? [Edited at 2022-11-08 14:14 GMT]
Hi Stepan
I can answer your last question: no, this project is open to absolutely everyone, whether they're members or not. | | | Stepan Konev ரஷ்ய கூட்டுறவு Local time: 04:47 ஆங்கிலம் - ருஷ்ஷியன் Project vs Profile | Nov 8, 2022 |

I don’t mean this project. I mean a field in my proz profile. Other fellow translators can somehow insert a link to their ‘Words Donated’ count for example. I can’t find a way to add this information in my profile.
What regards the project, you made it clear to me at the very beginning of this topic and I confirm I have understood that well. | | | Andrew Morris ஸ்பெயின் Local time: 03:47 உறுப்பினர் (2019) தலைப்பை ஆரம்பித்தல்

Oops sorry! A case of what the French call "diagonal reading"! | | | That particular section is based on word count for TwB, staff can add that for you | Nov 8, 2022 |

Hi Stepan. That particular field is based on words translated for Translators without Borders. It used to update itself automatically, but, as I understand it, this is no longer the case, as the system TwB is using is different and does not "connect" to one's ProZ.com profile. If you have done work for TwB, please put in a support request, and the team can add that for you. They may need information such as your current wordcount or your Kató profile (the platform TwB is using now).

Yes, after my Support Request was answered, I checked, and I was able to set it to my preferred choice.
Are you going to announce the addition of this new field to all members?
Or was the email I got the announcement?
What are the default settings of the radio buttons and the display checkbox for ProZ members, who have never participated in TWB? (See below)
I am willing to consider doing volunteer (i.e. "pro bono") work for non-profit organizations
o Yes
o No
o I prefer not to decide right now

I don't believe there will be a wide announcement on this, no. I imagine that as Andrew moves forward with the project, word will get out and those who are interested will indicate that interest. For those who are not interested, no action is required.
The default for this field is nothing, i.e. no selection until the profile owner makes a selection. | | | பதிவின் பக்கங்கள்: < [1 2 3] | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Announcing the Pro Bono Project Pastey | Your smart companion app
