Yueyin,
If you don't mind my saying, IMO, those pictures you've posted of your subdivision don't quite do it justice. You have to be there to truly appreciate the beauty of the surroundings.

BTW, that says a lot coming from me. As I mentioned to Lesley the other day, unfortunately, there's precious little I like of today's offering in Chinese music. Or maybe I'm just not looking in the right places? I typically limit myself to YouTube. I figure if a piece of music is any good, sooner or later it would show up in YouTube.

Yueyin,

On the one hand, it is a complete disgrace to keep changing something that was promised to employees years, or even decades, ago when they first got hired on. On the other hand, the entitlements are indeed not sustainable because of increased industry competition. A company needs to compete on a global basis with most of the competitors not having this kind of pension liability handicap.
As for me, I feel lucky just to have a pension.

This extensive great native land of ours with its large variety of natural conditions has nurtured a plenitude of "living treasures" - wild animals.
China has numerous types of wild animals. According to the statistics, 1174 types of bird have been discovered, which is 13.4% of the world's total. There are more than 420 types of animal, which is 11.1% of the world's total. There are around two hundred types of amphibian and around three hundred types of reptile. These wild animals not only give people pleasure but they can also supply large quantities of fibre, feathers, skins, meat, fat, and valuable animal medicinal materials. Some can also be used in scientific and medical research, or, after being domesticated, can be developed into livestock farming enterprises.
