I enquired via the Internet about the possibility to acquire a trial version of this CAT tool, required by a potential outsourcer. The package price was high but there was an option for a FREE download version for translators.

In about one week I found a nice cardboarded parcel at home with an original DVD, a kind letter from the Across management and the licence to use the program indefinitely for professional single free-lance use.

Surely one of the first would-be improvements if things go well.

Across is good easy-to-understand and easy-to-work-with program. It does everything the other Cat-tools do. I was really surprised to get a program of such quality for free.
