Hi folks,
A client of mine sent me an OmegaT package (*.omt) that contains just one memoQ file (*.mqxliff) for translation. I used memoQ to translate its native file but my client wants me to return the OmegaT package as translated. Basically the omt file is a zip archive, and I managed to unpack it, so far so good. Would it work for me if I simply paste the target mqxliff file into the target folder of the OmegaT project and then repack zip back to omt?
I could test it by myself but the next problem in my way is that I can't open the omt file. The online OmegaT manual says there must be an option for OMT files, but in fact there is no such option in the recent version 6.0.0. What am I doing wrong? How can I open an OMT package in OmegaT?

Cheers,

Go to the Omegat site on sourceforge. This forum is basically defunct.

Thank you, Susan. I did exactly what you suggested.
Just in case anyone else comes across the same issue, here is a response from the OmegaT support:
You should ask your client how to handle OMT packages. OmegaT does not come with a package system by default.

Another power user at the above-referenced sourceforge forum suggested that I need to download and install a plugin to open OMT packages: https://github.com/briacp/plugin-omt-package/releases/download/v1.8.1/plugin-omt-package-1.8.1.jar
Put the downloaded jar file to this folder: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\OmegaT\plugins
If the plugins folder is missing (if you never used other OmegaT plugins like me), just create it.
