E não é de surpreender que a maioria das pessoas sendo mortas são cristãs.
Tem muitos soldados sendo mortos no Iraque.

As far as I know, Portuguese uses a gerund construction like 'materiais contendo amianto', having parallels in English (although the expression such as 'asbestos-containing materials' is more common) and French, which is however ungrammatical in Spanish.
