"The Great Conjunction"
The 21st December was a really special day: The closest alignment, just a tenth of a degree apart, of Jupiter and Saturn since nearly 400 years!
You can see the Jupiter with its moons: Europa, Io, Ganymed and Callisto (the white dots from right to left) and Saturn with its rings.
All objects were photographed in the near of Jena, Germany with the Sony A7 III, the Sony FE 600 mm F4 GM and a 2x converter on a focal length of 1200mm.
No stars are visible because of the enormous brightness of the planets. (short exposure times)
