PDF formatındaki bu sözlük Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi Gıda Mühendisliği Bölümü öğretim üyeleri ve araştırma görevlileri tarafından yaklaşık 2 yıl süren bir çalışma sonucu ortaya çıkmış. Hazırlanmasında ODTÜ Gıda Mühendisliği Bölümünde verilen temel dersler göz önünde bulundurulmuş.





Girişte, sözlüğün oluşturulmasındaki temel amaç İngilizce terimlerin Türkçe’deki karşılıklarını en doğru biçimde tüm Gıda Mühendislerine ve Gıda Mühendisliği ögrencilerine aktarmak olarak ifade edilmiş olsa da çevirmenler için de güzel bir kaynak olduğunu söylemek lazım.
