No, you can't. I've explained above why this is not possible. memoQ (like any other CAT tool) is not a crystal ball to forsee which words need capitalization.

Actually I cannot see any problem with adding synonyms. Before your post I could not even think that adding synonyms may be so troublesome... Maybe because I still could not find a use for

Why don't they use SDL Trados Studio for this purpose?
Export Word to sdlxliff -> you translate -> they open your translated sdlxliff in Studio and enjoy the non-100% segments. Very easy.
