I have been offered a job by an agency that involves traveling to a different province and spending one night in a hotel. The agency will be paying both these costs as well as adding some money for lunch/dinner but what I would like to know is whether it is usual for the agency to pay the accommodation and travel costs upfront or whether I have to pay out of my own pocket and then have them reinburse me 30 days later when payment is due?

Make your invoice as clear as possible. This is the only way to show professionalism.
