So far I have been counting per word from the source text.
But I realize that in Germany the method to make the price for a translated text is done by counting the lines in the target text.

As far as spanish texts are longer (about 25%) my client has noticed a great increase in the price of the invoice which I have assesed per word.

As far as spanish texts are longer (about 25%) my client has noticed a great increase in the price of the invoice which I have assesed per word.

In order to avoid future possible misunderstandings I would like to offer a price per line. So I would like to know which is the acceptable minimum per line (55 characters)
(for technical translations german spanish)

Thanks in advance willdlp

Hi willdlp!

I can't tell you how much to charge for your translations, but I can give you the URL for a very useful conversion tool:

http://www.amtrad.it/feewizardol.php

It should give you the information you need....

Best,

Alison

PS. 1 line is 55 Characters with spaces
