Dear interpreter colleagues,

I hope you are doing well and I hope that you are healthy and safe. I'm writing to you because I was offered to be a Spanish-English interpreter in some conferences that are taking place in Los Cabos,Mexico next August. My client is a translation company based in South Asia.

Dear interpreter colleagues,

I hope you are doing well and I hope that you are healthy and safe. I'm writing to you because I was offered to be a Spanish-English interpreter in some conferences that are taking place in Los Cabos,Mexico next August. My client is a translation company based in South Asia.

They are asking me to do an estimate of my expenses for the trip from the USA to Mexico in order to send them to the client. Some of them include public transportation expenses from New York to the airport, ground transportation in Mexico, meals, luggage fees and visa fees.

The client will need me for around two weeks. I will be interpreting for around 7 to 8 hours each day.

Can you please tell me if I may need a work visa in order for me to work in those conferences during the entire two weeks?

I'm a naturalized U.S. Citizen, I know I didn't need a visa when I was offered to work in Cancun for five days during the year 2017. I'm not sure if the Mexican visa regulation has changed after the Covid19 Pandemic.

I'm also a Spanish citizen but I can travel only with my U.S. Passport from The United States to other countries.

I may travel around the month of May. Feel free to contact me and feel free to write to me in Spanish if you are a native Spanish speaker.

Greatly appreciated.
