Now how are you supposed to work what with the hollering and yonking all around for Canadian hockey gold(s)? Even my cleaning lady from Ecuador was waving her broom dangerously, almost hit the cat.

Hi Marcus, I would be hollering too, if I were your cleaning lady! Feb 25, 2002

We don\'t get much coverage in Aussie-land since there is no swimming involved ....

Congratulations! What do you think about deep see diving to be included in future games? Under ice in winter?

Enjoy!

First and only Australian gold in the Winter Olympics ever! Feb 25, 2002

Maybe not but I hope everyone appreciates the Aussie who won gold in the short track. He couldn\'t believe it himself! That was brilliant

WOW Feb 25, 2002

I never watch hockey, but I had to yesterday (after my Trados refresher course). Like many of you I have a split allegiance. When it comes to soccer (which like hockey I never watch except for the World Cup) I unfurl my Italian flag.

I wonder what I would do if ever Canada was to make it big in soccer.

Ciao from a proud Canadian

Hey Colin, what about Womens' Aerials? Feb 25, 2002

The gold medalist was an Aussie, her boyfriend is from my town in Canada...all in all, not a bad Winter Olympics for a country that doesn\'t have much of a winter!

Cheers!

Oh, and GO CANADA GO!!!! I knew Wayne wouldn\'t lie!

yes, good to know... Feb 25, 2002

...we only lost against the gold medal winning hockey team 3-2...

Apart from that, Germany is again tops of the Winter Olympics and I am celebrating too! I watched the hockey with my Canadian friend and we had a great time, especially because we both used to play ourselves...when we were young, err...
