Has anyone done interpreting assignments with/for the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement?

Dear fellow interpreters,

I got an assignment from an interpreting agency some days ago. It involves the Department of Industrial Relations/Division of Labor Standards Enforcement/San Diego. The language is Arabic and the mode of interpreting would mostly be consecutive.

It is a conference type session faciliated by a Deputy Labor Commisioner. I have not done such type of project before. Has anyone of you done such interpreting work? What does it involve? What to expec... See more

I don't want to go unprepared.
