Most food-related figures of speech I can think of in Italian involve dough: Here some of them: - avere le mani in pasta = to have a finger in the pie - essere di buona pasta = to be good natured - essere di tutt'altra pasta = to have a different character - pasta d'uomo = a good natured man - essere della stessa pasta = to be cast in the same mould - uomo di grossa pasta = a rough man Some others: - vai a farti friggere = get l...
