I have been a freelance translator for the past 24 years but was also previously employed by translation agencies in the Boston area and worked as an inhouse translator at various large computer companies in the Boston area. I specialize in medical translation from German into English but also have extensive experience in technical/computer translation as well as marketing and environmental science. I am presently doing freelance translations for a large medical company and do occasional translation work for interns at a Boston hospital. I can provide a translations sample if requested.

I use Microsoft Word most of the time, as this is the word processor of choice for most of my clients. I also use PowerPoint and several graphics programs depending on the job.

I have an extensice online library/dictionaries and feel comfortable partaking in large projects where I can work together with many other freelancers.
