INFIRMIERE
Il va pas tarder Doc.

TOM
Le bébé se présente par le siège !! Il va falloir pratiquer une césarienne ! Préparer une anesthésie !
Translation - English SASHA
How did you manage to trick the mission control? There's a weekly video contact with the Pol Com, isn't there?
DIMITRI
We come back here just for that. Our cameras have such crappy quality that we broadcast the old tapes and play around with the audio tracks!
SASHA
- Humff! Smart.
SASHA
- But not enough.
TOM
And you've been hosting all these Russians here for the past eleven weeks!?
DENNIS
We knew well enough it wouldn't last forever.
...But your John Wayne took us off guard!
TOM
Hmm...
MAN WITH A CAP
And I had to avoid the blunder!
DENNIS
Anyway, Spotino is a bit groggy in a room, Unit two. It shouldn't be long before he comes around...
MAN WITH A CAP
So, we figured that you could maybe...
NURSE
Doc! She's in labor! A contraction every minute! Valeriane needs you!
VALERIANE
Hunngh!
TOM
10 cm cervical dilation!
TOM
Well well, he's not one to keep you waiting!
VALERIANE
Hnngh! That's what Dimitri said to me... hmmpff... On our first date!
TOM
The father hasn't come back with the adrenaline yet?
NURSE
He won't be long, doc.

TOM
The baby is breech!! Gonna have to perform a C-section! Set up an anesthetic!

Bio
Fluently trilingual in French, English and Lebanese dialect.
My passion for languages was constantly fueled by a manifest desire to understand and embrace different cultures. And also, by my love for wordplay and poetry.
Having lived in Cyprus for many years, in an international environment, I picked up some Greek and studied Spanish and German at school. Switching from one language to another was always a form of natural process to me.
After a major in Graphic Designs and Advertising (2000-2005), I have worked in my field in both English and French, then undertook various translation projects along the way (from short movie subtitles, advertising slogans, to corporate document translations...)
My most recent work involved translating comic strips, from French to English, for a language-learning educational app. And it was the latter thrilling and successful experience that finally led me to the decision of making a fresh new start in my career with translation as my main occupation.
My strong attention to detail as well as my love for idioms, wordplay and etymology, allow me to deliver a meticulous but also a creative work.
Main objective: a translation that doesn't look like one!
Fields of work: comics, subtitles, games/video games, theater, technical, websites, social sciences, travel and tourism, general/conversation/correspondence, arts.
