Dziękuję. :)
Iwona Szymaniak Sep 18, 2006:
Iwona Szymaniak Sep 18, 2006:
someone pleads with God on behalf of another or others who desperately need God's intervention."

Iwona Szymaniak Sep 18, 2006:
You are here: Prayer >> Intercessory Prayer
Intercessory prayer is prayer for others. An intercessor is one who takes the place of another or pleads another's case. One study Bible defines intercession as "holy, believing, persevering prayer whereby
Iwona Szymaniak Sep 18, 2006:
Intercessors take others' situations to the face of God in prayer.

I jeszcze definicja wyrażenia "patron saint" z Catholic Encyclopedia: A patron is one who has been assigned by a venerable tradition, or chosen by election, as a special <<intercessor>> with God and the proper advocate of a particular locality, and is honoured by clergy and people with a special form of religious observance. Example sentence:

yet nothing but divine revelation can form the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and of redemption purchased for us; of a Mediator of the new covenant, and of an Intercessor at the footstool of God's throne cytat z Robinson Crusoe Daniela Defoe
