"the enemy camp" has a wide field of application. It is not restricted to military contexts. A politician might refer to the opposing party as "the enemy camp". A man fighting with his wife's family might refer to them as "the enemy camp".

Thanks for your suggestion Tom. I was thinking along the lines of "enemy faction" or even "militant faction" myself. "area antagonista" has normally very precise political connotations in Italian and refers to left-wing militant groups

Opposition territory can be used for physical political boundaries, areas/realms of policy politically and conflict boundaries.

My examples are for 'political' boundaries.
