Hi Daryo, thanks for the explanation!
This heading is in fact under "Cotisation statutaires ou prévues par la convention collective (Statutory contrib. or those provided for in the collective)" and the numbers are in the column "charges patronales (employer contributions)"
Daryo Apr 27:
Can you see from the totals whether this "Retraite financement paritarisme" is an amount

deducted from the gross salary
or is
mentioned as some kind of "additional payment" made by the employer to some jointly managed pension fund?

This "title technical detail" can make a not so little difference.

"Une fiche de paie" would deal with very down to earth categories like either "deductions from" or "additional payments on top of" the "gross salary", not with general concepts.

IOW from what we know so far this amount labelled "Retraite financement paritarisme" could be deducted from the gross salary (=the employee's contribution) OR it could be representing "the employer's (matched) contribution" to this pension plan.

This might be useful;

Retirement - funding by paritarianism

Good luck with that! I suspect you'll have to just 'translate the words' and cross your fingers and/or enter a lengthy footnote, starting with the establishment of the French union movement ...

Le paritarisme, ou système de gestion paritaire, est un principe consistant en la cogestion d'un organisme par un nombre égal de représentants des employés et des employeurs. On parle alors d'un organisme paritaire
[Wiki - which gives the English as 'co-determination', which would undoubtedly have to be explained to Aussi immigration officials too]

“Paritarian” is derived from the French “paritaire” and means jointly managed on an equal basis. The roots of the paritarianism go back to the 19th century but

The financing of the CSEDT is ensured through subscriptions of its members and its participation in paritarianism.

It looks as if if you know about such things, 'paritarianism' might be understood:
In the field of social protection, paritarian institutions are non-profit institutions which are jointly managed by the social partners (representatives of the employers and employees). In other words, the governance of these institutions is based on the equal representation of employees (normally the trade unions) and employers in their governing bodies.
The social protection funds managed by the paritarian institutions are set up through collective agreements at the company, the industry-wide (such as construction sector, metal sector, etc.) or the inter-sectoral level, and they can provide several social benefits such as pension (in particular occupational pension funds), health care, unemployment, disability, paid holidays, and other such benefits.

jointly union-funded, occupational pension contribution

from paritaire: 'equi-representational'; joint, Bridge.

& operating employer-employee: management-trade union, rather than male-female.

'Une moitié affectée au financement du paritarisme des employeurs, est répartie entre les organisations professionnelles d'employeurs représentatives pour l'année 2022 comme suit : 96,17 % : confédération nationale de la boulangerie et *boulangerie-pâtisserie française* (CNBPF) ; 3,83 % : fédération des entreprises de boulangerie (FEB).'
Example sentence:

Representative arrangements are widely employed in the governance of occupational pension funds, particularly in *Australia* where a sector of jointly employer/employee-sponsored ‘industry funds’ was established during the 1980s.

paritarisme: Le sujet n’est pas, historiquement, celui du genre et de l’égalité entre les femmes et les hommes.

Jointly labor and business funded retirement pension

The so called 'paritarisme' is the fact of bringing together labor and business to negotiate the terms of a retirement program they jointly fund, and to equally manage that program.

occupational pension funds

Lets use the English and European term with loads of Google hits rather than suggestions that don't get a single hit.

These funds are based on the Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision Directive 2016 (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institutions_for_Occupational_...

retirement finance parity

Parity is equality of amount, status or value.
The first reference below explains that employment pensions for men are expected to be considerably more than those for women. The reference is about the gender gap mainly.
Is there any expectation of employer - employee parity or equality at the time of retirement?
The second reference is about increasing the pension expectation by increasing monthly contributions considerably.

matching (employer's) retirement/pension (plan) contribution

The description for this specific amount in the pay slip means:

retraite financement paritarisme
=
financement paritaire du plan retraite - cotisations patronales

=>
matching employer's retirement/pension plan contribution

depending on how much is obvious from the context, the label for this amount could be shortened to:

matching retirement/pension contribution

as if on top of the column it says "charges patronales" there is no need to repeat who's paying for this contribution to the retirement plan.

If anyone in Australia wonders what could be a "matching contribution" to a pension plan, they will have to make the effort to take a close look at the French system, no two ways about it.
