@ kevin An "accent" item, in this case a tile, is a different color or shape than most of the tiles in a particular job; the accent tiles are used very sparingly, either in a design (around the edge for instance) or here and there to create interest. Usually they are in a much more vivid a color than the rest of the tiles. They create an "accent."

@Nathalie Could you provide more context? I think the answer might variate depending on what is different, i.e if it were the colors that were different we could say "carreau rehaussé de vert" or "carreau marron avec des touches de vert".

Whereas if it was just a general term, it could refer more to "carreau à motifs".

Nathalie, je pense qu'il s'agit du listel, petit carreau décoratif placé seul ou en frise au sein de carreaux de couleur/forme dominante différente.
