Catalan term

renaixentista

Catalan to English Art/Literary Music
The word is used in a description of a singer who has won an award. The sentence runs as follows: "Sempre ha estat un artista independent, polifacètic, lliure, inquiet, transformador, múltiple, renaixentista, experimentador, crític i fortament compromès amb el seu temps." I can find ways of expressing the other adjectives but I can't figure out what to do with 'renaixentista'. Can anyone help? TIA.

Renaissance man, multitalented,multifaceted, versatile.

It means a person that works or performs in many fields and disciplines, as Leonardo da Vinci did. You may translate it literally, or rewrite the concept in a way that fits the rest of the style of the other adjetives. I have given you a few options.

I hope it helps.
