Catalan term

carp y metacarp

Catalan to English Medical Medical (general) physiotherapy
Hi, everyone!

I'm doing an URGENT translation from Catalán to English on Physiotherapy and the above terms come up. According to Eurodicautom, "carp" means wrist, but later another word crops up that also means wrist. So, I'm stuck. This is the list of contents of a course, so I have no further text. It is reffering to the UPPER part of the body, so it's not "ankle".

Many thanks for your help.

Margaret.

Metacarpal!
Peer comment(s):

agree Berni Armstrong : But "metacarpAL" (not ian) - However, if the context is for the general reader then the other option would suffice.
