Bonded-base restorative technique... is an approach when an intermediate layer such as a glass ionomer or a low modulus resin-based material is placed between the restorative material and the dentin floor as the initial increment of the restoration.[4] Because this intermediate layer absorbs stress, it can decrease the effects of polymerization shrinkage. По-русски этот метод называется "сэндвич-техника" – сочетанное применение стеклоиономера и композита. "Сэндвич" бывает открытый и закрытый в зависимости от того, полностью покрывается стеклоиономер композитом или частично. В Вашем контексте это не уточняется, поэтому нужно написать просто "сэндвич-техника".
