Tipici stadi d’uscita sono i transistor in configurazione open collector (con possibilità di avere optoisolatori per la separazione galvanica), relè e SSR (solid state relè). La scelta dello stadio d’uscita porta ad avere limiti sulla massima frequenza di commutazione
