Spanish term

Contratos de pasivo/activo

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Bank statements
Hello! This is from a Spanish bank statement, to be translated into UK English. I understand what "operaciones pasivas" and "operaciones activas" are, but am not sure how to render "Contratos de pasivo/activo" in this context. Contratos de pasivo is the heading above the various accounts. Contratos de activo in this case is not followed by any other text. Thanks very much!

Hi AllegroTrans. The accounts are current accounts. Under "CONTRATOS DE PASIVO" there are four account numbers; it says "Cuenta corriente" or "C/C Divisas" next to each account number. I do not know whether they are in credit or debit, as there are no amounts (blank under "Saldo"). Thanks for asking.
AllegroTrans Jun 23, 2011:
Are all the accounts in credit? or are some in debit?
Dagnia (asker) Jun 23, 2011:
Hi, the individual is a person.
AllegroTrans Jun 23, 2011:
and the individual? a person? a company? small? large?
All of this is important context!!
Dagnia (asker) Jun 23, 2011:
This is a bank statement, with a list of all banking products pertaining to a particular individual at this particular banking institution in Spain. Under "Contratos de pasivo" there is a list of the client's various accounts (current accounts, etc). There is nothing listed under the other heading I mentioned. Thanks for your help.
AllegroTrans Jun 23, 2011:
Hold on We really need more context. When you say a list of accounts, are they lots of different customers' accounts? What's in the list, just the numbers of the accounts? the current balances? All accounts belonging to one customer? Individual? Company?
What other headings are there that might give us a clue?
Dagnia (asker) Jun 23, 2011:
What comes directly under the heading is a list of accounts.
AllegroTrans Jun 23, 2011:
Context What comes immediately below the heading?

deposit/credit agreements

These terms would not usually be used English in this context.

A deposit agreement would cover current, deposit, etc. accounts where the bank takes in money.

Credit agreements would cover loan, facility etc. agreements.
