Peer comment(s):

disagree liz askew : This is the nucleus/nuclei, not core or center./It is also grey/gray, not greay, as has been entered in the glossary./I am not angry, just concerned about accuracy.

I corrected the "greay"..obviously... I'm not dumb or stupid, I just offered my version, please take your anger to the asker, who chose my answer... then go edit the glossary entry, don't take outon me. And there is no glossary entry...Geeez!

gray nucleus

The correct name of this structure in anatomy is Nucleus. Hence, gray nucleus in singular, gray nuclei in plural.

Spanish term (edited): nucleos grises de la base

grey matter of basal nuclei

Cerebral nuclei are by definition "grey", and thus speaking of "the grey nuclei" may sound funny (BTW, "nucleos de la base" = "basal ganglia" or "basal nuclei"; a defined anatomical structure).
