Even though the treatment of arterial-mesenteric duodenal occlusion is essentially medical, there are cases that do not respond and where surgery treatment is indicated. Two techniques are basically described: one consists in the section of the Treitz ligament, which takes the duodenum out of the most acute part of the dorsum mesenteric angle. The other technique corrects the obstruction through a duodenal jejunum anastomosis laterolateral.
