Hello all,

I have to translate a list of English computer error message (system errors etc.) into German. Now I suppose most of these already have a German translation, as these are quite commonly used error messages. SO does anyone know where I can find a list with German error messages? Would be very thankful...

If Microsoft, use Microsoft glossaries Nov 20, 2005

There is an english-german MS Glossary for their software.
For other software refer to their manufacturer pages or take Google for help - maybe you can find something this way.

You can find the M$-Glossaries on their ftp-page.
The adress is ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/developr/msdn/newup/Glossary/

You could also copy this link and paste it into your browser adress line. Be sure your PC allows ftp-communication. If the link doesn´t work for you, so only the settings of your machine are responsible for that.
