Who uses evoterm and can recommend it? I'm particularly interested in the "Comprehensive Dictionary of Industry & Technology", which you access via evoterm and is a Dutch-English dictionary that boasts a huge number of entries. It's an expensive product and I'm wondering if it's worth it if you mostly do only 'light' technical stuff like me.

Thanks.

Never heard of it, so I googled it. It seems to be an internet-based resource, and being old-fashioned I am reluctant to use anything so "cloudy"; being Scottish, I certainly would be hard put to pay money for it.

A non-starter for me. For now, I'll stick to my old Routledge technical or the voluminous but occasionally skewiff Beigbedder Spanish tech, plus good old Google and proz, for my technical queries.

Too bad they couldn't all just come to some sort of an agreement and add them all together:)

Also, I think that if they lowered their prices they might do better in the long run in terms of

Also, I think that if they lowered their prices they might do better in the long run in terms of the amount of people actually using them...

In any case, if you are doing very technical stuff: then the GWIT (Groot Woordenboek Industrie & Techniek) is invaluable.
