Hi Spiros,
You can delete all the codes in a single target segment by Ctrl+space, using the same shortcut a second time will clear the target text as well. But there is no shortcut to "delete from cursor position to end of segment".
Thanks for reminding that AHK script, so many great resources in Yahoo DejaVu list.

Have you tried Ctrl+Shift+PageDown key combo?

If I remember it correctly, this is how I deleted the text from cursor down to the end of segment in DVX2. If PageDown didn't do the trick, try the same combo but replace PageDown with ArrowDown key. I use Windows 7, and I am not sure if this is a predefined shortcut command for this OS. I don't have an AHK for this function, so it must come from somewhere in the system:)
