2022年的第一天到来了，一大早，拉开窗帘，晨光熹微，街道依然沉寂如荒原。
我拿起手机，本来是想写一点新年的心情，随手点开一个视频，却看到在距离我不远的南窑头社区，一个外出买馒头回来的小伙子，在社区门口被防疫人员围著殴打。
画面上，白花花的馒头洒了一地，我仿佛听到自己心碎的声音。打人的人，面对自己的同类——这寒风里买回一点食物的人，怎么能下得去手？是哪怕最微小的权力，也会让人变异吗？是在有权者眼里，暴力才是成本最小的解决方式吗？我默默关掉了手机，此时此刻，我只希望自己闭目塞听，能平静地度过这新年一天。
这城市表面的寂静掩盖不住它的兵荒马乱。从个体角度来看，从12月27日以来，几乎每一天，都有灾难发生著。最初是各种吃不到饭，后来更多的是关于治病就医的呼救。我过去待过的报社，成立了一个“记者帮”的栏目，希望“帮一个算一个”，记者去帮市民买药送药，解决一些实在过不了的关口。每一天，收到的求助信息有上千条。
新年到了，我所在的小区内，家家户户门上都贴了封条。因为另外一栋楼上有两例确诊病例的人，听说按照最新的社会面“清零”政策，如果再有病例，我们小区的住户，就要全体被拉走集中隔离。
在小区单元群里，我简直能感受到大家都在瑟瑟发抖。12月31日半夜，被全体拉走集中隔离的糜家桥小区，就在我家附近。而明德门8英里小区被拉到灞桥公租房集中隔离的人，已在求助。我们至少还是在自己温暖的家里啊。此时，不再需要物业提醒，单元群里，大家都在加油鼓劲：先停止一切购物、下楼，一定确保安全，否则，全小区的人都要被拉走集中隔离啊。一位邻居最担心的是家里养的五只猫，其中三只，都是一线防疫人员寄养的啊……有朋友提醒我，还是简单准备一下，以免真的被突然拉去集中隔离。
1月3日，又一天过去了，群里有人说：“终于又保住了一天”。我们就这样活在“盛世” 。

More than two centuries ago, the great poet William Blake offered the world the most extraordinary of possibilities:
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
and eternity in an hour.
Yeah, that would be nice.
Unfortunately, most of us don't know how to hold eternity in the palm of our hands. In fact, most of us feel lucky if we can just hold it together until the end of the day. The problem, of course, is that mostly we've lost our minds. And I mean that literally. Our attention is endlessly lost in the endless blur of appointments, to-do lists, worry, concern and agitation that makes up modern life.
Sometimes, however, for the briefest moment, we do pick up a scent that there is something more going on than this daily round of survival. But those moments pass and waves of mundane urgency swallow us again. Tumbling through the chaos of our day-to-days, we wonder if Blake's vision of a broader, more expansive experience is nothing more than a poet's fancy. Can we really see the Universe in a grain of sand, even as we slog through traffic? Can we really hold infinity in our hands, even as we drop off the kids to violin practice?
The answer, I believe, is "yes." In fact I am sure of the answer is yes. The connection between the everyday reality we experience and boundless landscapes of cosmic beauty, inspiration and joy is actually so close, so present for us. It's there in the dust on your car, the mess on your desk and the swirling water in your sink.
How do I know this? Because I am a scientist dammit and I know that Science — under all its theories equations, experiments and data — is really trying to teach us to see the sacred in the mundane and the profound in the prosaic.
The trick is in the noticing and that happens by unpacking the question hidden in Blake's poem……

In English literature, Shakespeare is known for his tragedies. To Chinese literature, the Yuan dynasty left dramas as its legacy. If these masters were alive today, I am sure thay would have a lot to write about life in current societies. Less than three weeks into the Year of the Tiger, there is already enough social drama going on in China. To me, these evloving events and real stories are none the less dramatic than the greatest stage productions the world has ever seen, for the pain being felt is very real in every heart for those who still have a human heart. ▲ Collapse

读了 David 写的《壬寅年月元曲韵》， 再读元代乔吉的《山坡羊•冬日写怀》原唱，心痛、悲叹的同时，对 David 的铿锵神笔也佩服不已！
不禁又想到清华法学院教授劳东燕在《直面真实的世界》中的话：
……很多事情，但凡還有一點做人的血性，我都疑惑，怎麼能忍得下來。無止境的忍耐，無原則的退讓，最終會讓自己都鄙視自己，那樣苟且地活著，真是枉稱為人。反之，不想忍耐的話，就要經常處於憤怒的狀態，還可能被認為是麻煩人物，免不了陷入四面楚歌的境地。
……
直面現實，接受世界殘酷的一面，是走向成熟必須要經歷的過程，不然，心理上就永遠只處於蒙昧的幼童時期。就像有句話說的，「凡是聽不得殘酷真相的人，一般都活在嬰兒階段。人的成熟，一半是對美好事物的追求，一半是對殘酷真相的接納。」

基辅系列（Kiev rangefinders）是前苏联生产的性能最优越的相机之一，其机身镜头几乎完全是按照德国1930-40年代蔡司康泰（Zeiss Contax）的模板仿造的。
二战结束后，德国许多重要城市和工业中心已被盟军夷为平地。作为战胜国，美国吸走了德国的人才，苏联则拖走了尚未被打烂的德国机械设备，其中就包括从德累斯顿（Dresden）拖到乌克兰首府基辅的相机生产线。接下去的几十年里，苏产相机能在国际市场上占有一席之地，靠的主要就是基辅这条相机生产线，及后来按照此设备为蓝本设计但安装在了列宁格勒的另一条生产线所制造的产品。
