In order to introduce myself, I'am going to explain the reasons
that make me a qualified candidate for your services. I will start by first explaining my
background. I studied one degree and two Masters. Firstly, I study a Degree in
Spanish Law given my deep interest in European, International, Spanish Law and
my motivation to have multidisciplinary profile. This study laid down the
foundations of my knowledge in European Law, the International Relations, and
the treaties’ knowledge about the Public and private international law.
Afterwards,
I studied two Masters. The first one - a Master’s Degree in Labor Legal
Consulting - and immediately after that, I finished my second one – a Master’s
Degree in Translation for International Communication. At the latter, I took
specialised courses, developing my skills, in legislative, legal and economic
translations. As for my translations skills I understood the different
management about translations tools, such as Trados or MemoQ.
Thanks to
the competences I acquired after those two Master’s degree, I have considerably
improved my ability to understand complex legal texts and draft documents as
well as know how to declare the parties’ intentions and translating to a
contract, agreement or any kind legal script, I firmly believe that this
interdisciplinary background, needed to perform the diverse tasks inherent to
the work of translating every law, proposal, draft or any other political and
legal relevant document, makes me a suitable candidate for this position.
Moreover, I have carrying out tasks as freelance translator as much as I can since
I finalized my master in translation.
As well, I
have worked at legal consultancy offices and, thanks to this experience, I
acquired competencies in communication skill, team working and clients
relations. Concerning
my language skills, besides my native Spanish, I hold a Certificate of Advanced
English (CAE) and improving my French level for my own.
Finally, I
remain at your disposal to further discuss my credentials and motivation. Thank you so much.
