Source text - Chinese K-means algorithm是常被使用在Data clustering algorithm之一,其優點在於簡單操作及運算快速,然而K-means algorithm在開始執行時採用隨機選取起始點,導致每次運算結果不一,難以有個穩定的結果。此外,K-means algorithm無法自動判定dataset中有多少群,必須仰賴使用者輸入,對於未知的dataset,使用者難以決定分群數,導致分群結果不佳。ASK-means 利用Hierarchical clustering algorithm及Silhouette coefficient index 自動判定分群數及啟始點,改善K-means的缺點。最後利用UCI dataset和G-means及AK-means進行分析比較。 | Translation - English Abstract- The K-means algorithm is one of the frequently used data clustering algorithms which has the advantages of easy operation and quick calculation. However, K-means algorithms arbitrarily choose an initial point when implementing, which causes variable calculation results instead of stable ones. In addition, K-means algorithms cannot automatically determine the amount of clustering in the dataset, relying on user input. For unknown datasets, it is difficult for the user to determine the amount of clustering, which produces poor results. ASK-means, by contrast, uses a hierarchical clustering algorithm and silhouette coefficient index to automatically determine the number of clusters and the initial points, thus improving K-means. In UCI datasets, we used G-means and AK-means to complete analyses and comparison between the methods. |
