Since 1998 when I started my part time career as substitute teacher in Tohid High School in Iran, till 2011 when I became an assistance professor in Azad University in Iran up to now that I do Farsi tutoring, and Farsi interpretation with MCIS and CanTalk in Canada, my entire career was dedicated to learning, research and teaching in Academic field. Over the past 20 years, I have tutored and co-authored a variety of Farsi courses. I have extensive experience working with FSL students In Iran, as well as students with a variety of learning disabilities, as I have also worked in Social Service Worker field. I pride myself in creating a tutorial environment that accommodates the needs of my individual students while still promoting a high level of critical thought and writing skills. I am strongly organized and am always prepared for my lectures. I enjoy speaking in front of groups and sharing my knowledge with students. My teaching style is eclectic; I strive to offer a variety of lectures to appeal to all types of learners. Past supervisors and students alike have praised my ability to make sometimes dry subjects interesting. I would be thrilled to bring my unique abilities and talents to Mc Master University as a Farsi Lecturer.In addition to this, I have a Bachelor degree in Farsi-English translation, as well as a Master and PhD. degrees in Communication Sciences from Azad University in Iran.
