cantilevered slabs in Corten steel
I think 'a spinta' may come from 'varare a spinta'. to build something like a bridge or viaduct by cantilevering the structure out a bit at a time. I don't know whether it's also used as a synonym for 'impalcato/solaio a sbalzo', ie. an ordinary cantilevered slab. What is the resume person's field?

well in that case it's probably truss or transom rather than slab. there are a lot of interesting bridge building sites in both languages. here's your monolite:
