fresh weight (FW)

Fresh weight or mass (berat basah) is the weight of a living organism. Although both terms 'fresh weight' and 'fresh mass' are correct, 'fresh weight' appears to be more common, judging from Google hits (347,000) vs. 29,400 for 'fresh mass'. Both the English and the BI are juxtaposed in document 'EFFECT OF SALINITY ON GROWTH, PROLINE ACCUMULATION AND MALATE CONTENT OF PINEAPPLE (ANANAS COMOSUS (L.) MERILL.) UNDER TISSUE CULTURE CONDITION'. See second web reference below.
Example sentence:

English: At every two weeks in the first two months of culturing, the fresh weight (FW), dry weight (DW) and number of leaves were determined.

BI: Pada setiap dua minggu dalam dua bulan pertama selepas pengkulturan, berat basah (FW), berat kering (DW) dan bilangan daun ditentukan.
