As far as I understand it, and from the Wiki page, a deed poll (deed of change of name) is only required if a person wants to officially change their name other tahn by marriage, but isn't required if a person marries, is it? |

: David is right - it just means "changes of name".

Thank you. Yes, in "Familienbuch" it would superfluous to state that this was done by deed (de jure or de facto), otherwise it would not be entered there.
