scrubbier plants
not an exact translation, but to me sounds more natural in English than talking about "sparser plants".

I'm not happy with "stealthy" as a plant which is "fourni" means fuller, bushier etc... Any ideas would be welcome. I psoted mainly to point out the difference bewteen "une plante" and "un plant" in French!
