English term
Chuang Tzu
English to Spanish
Art/Literary
Philosophy
Taoism
It's the name of an ancient Taoist philosopher. My question is, do these names have a Spanish version? I have found both Chang Tzu and Chang Tsé (with and without the accent), which seems to be the Spanish name (just like Lao Tsé and Lao Tzu). What would you recommend?
Thanks in advance.

Chang Tsé
I would use this Spanish version. Have you tried how many times each version appears in Google?

: "Have you tried how many times each version appears in Google?" - Google is not the Bible. Having the most hits in Google does not mean it`s correct.

I didn't say Google IS the Bible. And I didn't mean that Google would provide the right answer. What a pity you've misunderstood my suggestion, not advice.

I have revered his works for most of my life in English and Spanish. Spanish does not have the uniformity of, conformity to romanization (as mentioned by another translator), so I have seen his name variously rendered, though most commonly in my opinion as Chuang Tzu. Please keep in mind, also, the change in Chinese away from Cantonese and toward Mandarin over the years. Best wishes with what seems an interesting and challenging project.
