JOHN HELE: Well, our interest assumptions are on a market-consistent basis. (multiple speakers) But it is not a full market-consistent embedded value as of yet. Tom?

TOM WILSON: Yes, with regards to the specific interest assumption, the capital markets within the Taiwanese market are relatively limited. In such an environment, with liquidity dropping off very rapidly after year 10, the average duration of our old block of business in Taiwan is 39 or thereabouts. Perhaps a little bit lower, but in that neighborhood.

As a consequence, we have to come up with a market-consistent estimate or rates basis that is out that far. Clearly, this is a -- without an explicit capital market such as one would find in Europe, in Japan, in the U.S., there are a variety differ ways of tackling that task.

We have projected out the interest rates curves, but then I have also taken a survey of our peer institutions, as well as what the equity analysts have been put in terms of assumptions on Embedded Value in the past for different companies, and have come up with 3.93%. One could consider this or we consider this to be a market-consistent rate for insurance liabilities of this duration within Taiwan at this time.

CHRIS HITCHINGS: So what other adjustments would be necessary, for example, to the Asian Life business, to make it fully market consistent? Can you give us some order of magnitude of what (indiscernible) be?

JOHN HELE: We haven't run those internally as of yet, so I can give you no guidance on that today. If and when we get those, then we will have to give you some guidance on it.

CHRIS HITCHINGS: But you would consider that the major variable is clearly the interest rate; and you would consider in setting your long-term rate equal to as far out as you can go; i.e., I think it is 11 years. Then that is what you would use if you were using fully market consistent?
