În engleză există conceptul de ice burns (An ice burn occurs when ice or other extremely cold objects contact and damage the skin tissue) care nu e chiar sinonim cu frostbite (Frostbite occurs when the exposure of parts of the body to extremely cold temperatures freezes the skin and the tissue beneath it), dar ambele sunt leziuni provocate de expunerea la temperaturi scăzute. Nu cred că în română le-am spune arsuri totuși, aș merge pe leziuni.
