Stomatita aftoasa

Caracteristica principala a stomatitei aftoase este aparitia unor mici ulceratii, deseori dureroase, in cavitatea bucala, in special in interiorul buzelor, al obrajilor sau pe limba.

Stomatita aftoasa nu este contagioasa. Nu poate fi transmisa prin folosirea in comun a unor obiecte sau prin sarut.
Cauze ale stomatitei aftoase
Cauza exacta a stomatitei aftoase nu este cunoscuta. Exista insa mai multi factori implicati in dezvoltarea acestor leziuni:

* sistemul imunitar slabit;
* alergii la cafea, ciocolata, branza, nuci, citrice sau cartofi;
* stresul;
* anumite virusuri si bacterii;
* traume ale cavitatii bucale;
* nutritie dificitara;
* unele medicamente.
