cachete de talha
The cargo wire or whipline on a crane will pass from the winch along the crane jib through guides (chachets) upto the jib head where there is a grooved pulley wheel, (talha), in order to prevent the whipline or cargo gyn jumping off this grooved pulley wheel there will be metal cheeks (cachetes) on either side of the pulley wheel to maintain the wire in place - sorry for the english but I hope this helps?
