I'm not sure if I got this right...

Insects represent 85% of the species in the animal kingdom. Of these, 10,000 are defined as **pest insects** and, in turn, 600 of these are serious **insect pests**. In XX there are 40 vegetable insect pests, 25 fruit insect pests, 15 field crop insect pests and 15 animal insect pests. Insect pests harm us by consuming our food and fibre.
