Catalan term

Fora stocks

Catalan to English Bus/Financial Retail Street markets
Hi,

"Fora stocks" is an increasingly common concept, when the local shops set up a commercial market in the streets, but I'm not sure how to translate it, or what the equivalent would be in English.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. :o)

End of season/stock clearance street market

In my town (in Catalonia) there is a 'fora stocks' street market during the last weekends in February and August. All the clothes shops in the town set up market stalls with the purpose of selling everything they have left in stock, before the new season starts. The market is open from 10.00 to 20.00 on the Saturday and Sunday, giving everybody the opportunity to visit the market.

I don't have a confidence level of 5, because there could be a better way of translating it.

Market stall

Normally you call something like that a ¨market stall¨, but I am not sure, it seems too easy....

Thanks for your answer, everything helps, but I think Helena hit the nail on the head! :o)
