Tunisian company – abbreviation in a footer
I hope someone can help with this please – it's driving me mad. It's probably completely irrelevant, but in the footer of a letter from a company in Tunisia it gives the address, telephone number, and then
***CD.*** : 804693E - Compte BIAT : 11111111111111111111111 - Code TVA : xxxxxxxxxxxxx"
BIAT is "Banque Internationale Arabe de Tunisie", but pleease put me out of my misery about "CD"

on second though, scratch the "export/import" variant.
"Customs registration number"
is suitably vague.

Well, the first 6 are ONLY numbers, the last one is a letter - that "little detail" counts a lot when designing codes // One way or another, it's the "registration number" with "Customs" - whatever is the extent of authority of "Customs" in Tunisia.

certificat de dépôt
Le certificat de dépôt est un Titre de Créance Négociable (TCN) et plutôt rarement utilisé par les petites entreprises en raison du montant minimum requis.

Daryo
: makes no sense - this "CD" registration is an identifier for a company, not for some negotiable financial instruments.

I don't know the fine points of the Tunisian system, but in many countries foreign trade is often heavily regulated and possibly restricted to "companies authorized for export/import".
IOW this "Code de Douane" could be some kind of proof that the company is registered as being "authorised to engage in export/import".
This same "Code en Douane" is maybe also used for transactions inside Tunisia, then it would simply be a "tax number" (for corporation tax), but it's not very likely as companies have also a "VAT registration".
(CD serait l'appellation code en douane et le format avec le CD du contexte semble correspondre)
