French term

mal systématisée

French to English Medical Medical (general)
I know this has been asked before but I feel like it needs a different translation in this context. This is the indication for a lumbar spine MRI:

"Bilan de lomboradiculalgie gauche mal systématisée (plutôt L4)."

I can find hits for "poorly systematized" in this context but they're all written by French authors so I'm doubtful that this is the correct translation.

Note from asker:
Thank you, but all of the references you have posted are for "lumbar radicular pain" which isn't the term I was asking about. Do you have anything to support why you believe it is "poorly defined" in this context?

To facilitate understanding, we will start with the definition of the key words systematisation, systemic, which all derive from the word system.
N.B.: keep in mind here the definition of a system as a whole.
In medicine, systematisation is an anatomical organisation into segments constituting a coherent whole according to a determined order,
Med. systemic disease (Garnier-Del. 1972). α) Pathol. Systemic disease. Affecting electively the different elements belonging to the same tissue or system.
Multisystematic atrophy is a progressive and incurable neurodegenerative disease (which means that the disease spreads throughout the area concerned, which can be considered here as a system).
Let us return to the disease that interests us, namely low back pain or lumbaradiculalgia.
The spine is a complex structure in which all the abnormalities present may or may not be a source of pain and may be associated with each other.
The normality of the examinations does not mean in the same way that the people suffering from them have "nothing". Indeed, many of these mechanical problems do not show up on the available tests. This is why the assessment of lumbaradiculalgia can be fairly nonspecific.
So, I will rather go for fairly nonspecific as a response.
Example sentence:

The assessment of lumbaradiculalgia can be nonspecific.
