isolation of glargine BDS [bulk drug substance]
In the context of Good Manufacturing [not Medical, by the way] Practices, "BDS" stands for Bulk Drug Substance. In Portuguese, "produto a granel", but the English acronym is commonly used.

Discussion
Glargina is glargine. I don't know what BDS is, apart from Barbosa de Souza! "BDS glargina" doesn't get any hits.
Also, insulin is written with a lowercase "i" in both languages, as it's not a proprietary name. The same goes for "good medical practices".
