Italian term

rispettate

Italian to English Medical Medical (general)
I am translating a text on ICG-enhanced fluorescence-guided surgery

I am having trouble finding the right expression for "Devon ester rispettate" in the last sentence of the following paragraph (provided for additional context). If you are short on time, just read the last sentence please!

Thank you for your suggestions!

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Tom in London

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Stuart and Aida Nelson Mar 22, 2022:
Thank you for the explanation, Anne.
Anne Schulz Mar 21, 2022:
It's about dissection in the first place (see "fluorescence-guided surgery" in the introductory line). In essence: during surgery, this fluorescence technique helps to avoid areas where essential structures could be damaged by the surgeon's scalpel.
Stuart and Aida Nelson Mar 21, 2022:
@ Lirka Why dissection? Basically, I also agree with Texjax but I am wondering what has dissection to do with this? I am asking just to have a bit more of medical understanding, if you know what I mean :)

Note from asker:
Interesting, yes, thanks. Let's see what others have to say, perhaps someone can build on this idea, which I think captures the meaning.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you as always, texjax!"

considered/adhered to/observed

This just means adhered to/observed/even considered in the context that the identification of vital organ structures and high risk areas is to be considered/observed/adhered to before the key markers/features can be located via dissection.

respected / adhered to

Respected or adhered to whatever exactly that implies in the context. As a result, correct identification of vital structures and high-risk areas is facilitated and must be respected until such time as dissection would allow for key landmarks to be located.
