The store withdrawal requisition will be clearly marked "cycle count adjustment" and approved by the facility controller.
Shortages are accounted for in this manner, in order to reflect total departmental operating cost.
It is the responsibility of the supervisor of stores to date and initial the SAP report.
Specific notation is required attesting unexplained shortages.
*Specifically exempt from the storeroom inventory procedures* are the following inventory classes:
1) Raw materials
2) Machine clothing
3) Packaging materials
It is required that each facility document their procedures and assigned responsibilities for the inventory and verification of quantity balances in these inventory classes.
